In a unexpected crossover event that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the official release, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana in addition to numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
