FC Barcelona to Host First Game at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months after they moved out to allow renovations to start.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators are permitted inside based on approved permits. When completed, it will accommodate close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

Barça organized a public practice inside the stadium in early November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from Uefa to host the next European match facing Eintracht on 9 December at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at the Olympic Stadium.
