Preamble

Manchester United, having just beaten Liverpool and Sunderland, are targeting a trio of victories straight this evening. The wind’s behind them under Ruben Amorim for the very first time!

Only problem is, their visitors tonight come from the south coast, having triumphed during three consecutive away games at the Theatre of Dreams, plus six out of seven fixtures in this rivalry.

Forget the momentum; for the Seagulls relatively easy. Having said all that, Brighton are otherwise as gloriously unpredictable similar to their opponents, therefore the fixture appears both fascinating and potentially thrilling to watch.

Selection Changes

Maguire picked up an injury during training this week. Malacia makes the squad among the substitutes this campaign.

Brighton have made a single switch after their 2-1 home win over Newcastle. Likely a defensive move, including Maxim De Cuyper replacing Gómez, who drops to the bench.

The striker, formerly of United champions in in 2012-13, returns to Old Trafford in fine form with four recent goals, one more than he’d managed from 15 prior games.
